Triathlons include three different sports. Triathletes therefore inevitably incur relatively high expenses. In addition to purchasing equipment (bike, cycling shoes, running shoes, appropriate clothing, accessories, etc…), triathletes also need to pay for training plans, gym memberships, race entry fees, travel, etc… For the Club to grow and to offer its members the best possible services, it also must assume the costs that the administration of a triathlon club requires (computer system, advertising, federation memberships, etc…)

To help with covering its costs, the Club is seeking sponsors that want an association with the team, in the promotion of sport and fitness. Sponsorship packages vary and take the form that is most appropriate for the specific sponsor. A cash sponsorship, for example, can be used towards:

With each sponsorship package, Cadence offers visibility that is proportional to the extent of the financial support provided. This can include printing the sponsor company logo on Cadence team uniforms, posting the sponsor’s name on the Club’s Web site, having Cadence team members participate in company events or take part in provincial, national or international races in the name of the sponsor company, or any other form of visibility, as best suits the sponsor concerned.

We believe that a corporate presence in sport and corporate support of sports clubs are particularly effective ways for companies to convey the message that they understand the importance of physical fitness and encourage everyone to seek out challenges and to cultivate the self-discipline necessary to extend themselves to meet these challenges. In our opinion, triathlon naturally brings together all of these criteria and will continue to gain in popularity during the course of this millennium.
